Mixacryl is a brush for acrylics made up of synthetic fibres and natural bristles. This innovation from Raphael allows you to combine the advantages of these fibres: The inclusion of synthetic fibres provides a highly invigorating sense of touch which is perfect for impastos and relief effects, at the same time offering the excellent color retention you expect from natural bristles. The interlocked assembly is perfect for working with thick paint and gives an excellent response on the canvas, even on rough backgrounds. It helps both to preserve the fibre’s natural curve when applying the paint and to restore the brush’s original shape on drying, even after it has been used many times. Easy to clean and maintain, Mixacryl brushes feature long wood handles and a matte, nickel-plated brass ferrule that eliminates glare.
