Masking tape mt Tadanori Yokoo
Japanese masking tape made of Japanese Washi paper which you can use for decorating whatever you like from boxes to cards, dishes to furniture. Can be used in different surfaces such as paper, wood, metal, porcelain, glass etc. Thanks to the history of making industrial masking tapes, mt masking tape is high quality – strong while extremely thin. Excellent adhesiveness makes the tape stick, at the same time it can be removed easily without leaving any trace.
Tadanori Yokoo was born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1936. He held a personal exhibition at The Museum of modern Art, New York in 1972. Since then, he has been an international practicing artist, displaying his work in biennial exhibitions in various cities including Paris, Venice and Sao Paolo. He has been highly acclaimed internationally as he frequently holds personal exhibitions at museums outside of Japan, such as Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Foundation Cartier Contemporary Museum in Paris. He was awarded the Mainichi Art Award in 1995, the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2001, the 36th Izumi-Kyoka Literature Award (for stories “Blue Land”) in 2008, The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette in 2011, the Asahi Award in the same year and the Yamana Award (for advertisement creators) in 2014.
