The water-based multi-purpose fabric painting and printing colour for light-coloured fabrics is ideal for school, craft, leisure and artisan use. After fixing (iron or oven 150°C/8 min) Marabu Textil can be washed in the washing machine up to 60°C. The colours are very light-fast, can be mixed and also diluted with water. Marabu Textil provides very good coverage on light-coloured fabrics. We recommend Marabu Textil plus for dark fabrics. Marabu Textil is suitable for all cotton, linen, jute, silk and mixed fabrics with max. 20% man-made fibres without finishes, but not for knit fabrics. Marabu Textil is easy to apply and particularly soft to the touch.

After drying, the textiles are washable up to 30°C (wash delicates inside out). The technique is not suitable for everyday clothing. The paint does not require fixing. Cold liquid wax H Dupont
Cold liquid wax to be used with the H Dupont Classique silk dyes. The wax prevents the colour from fixing to the areas it covers. Suitable for the batik technique, but also suitable for drawing and fine crackle effects. It is ready-to-use (no need to be heated) and has a longer drying/hardening time. Can be applied with brush, sponge, stamp but also can be used in a pipette, like gutta, to get very fine details. Let it dry completely before applying the dyes. After the dye is dry, remove the wax by ironing using blotting-paper or it can be removed during steaming.
Wax powder H Dupont
Wax powderis to be used with the H Dupont Classique silk dyes. The wax prevents the colour from fixing to the areas it covers. Suitable for the batik technique, but also suitable for drawing and fine crackle effects. Must be melted before application on the silk, but is very pleasant to use as it melts quickly thanks to its powdery consistency. Hardens very quickly. Let it dry completely before applying the dyes. After the dye is dry, remove the wax by ironing using blotting-paper or it can be removed during steaming.
