LB Extra-Fine oil is perfect for professionals and serious amateurs offering an ideal texture with its firm, non-oily and homogenous consistency. Detailed and laborious work was undertaken to adjust the oil level in every pigment composition to optimise each colours performance on the canvas. Every colour is uniquely formulated with a crude and refined oil as the vehicle; linseed oil or safflower oil. The choice of oil was determined in relation to the chemical nature of the pigments.
